Environmental Hazards

Environmental hazards where you live are much more common than you would think. It should not be a surprise when an environmental hazard is found where you live. With the thousands of hazardous waste sites, old landfills, leaking gas stations and many other hazards, more people find themselves in an unhealthy situation. There is almost no requirement for the government or real estate people to notify property owners or buyer about hazards. Buyer beware or renter beware is absolutely true when it comes to where you live. Unfortunately this places many people at risk to exposure from these chemicals. The only way to protect yourself is to be aware what the possible environmental hazards near where you live are. Only then are you able to look to see if your area is affected by one of these.
